Enemy Fire HÃ d Brought Him Down.
He Knew His Life WÃ s Over,
as He Lost à ll Sight à nd Sound.
He Knew a Peà ceful Sleep,
à midst the Rà ging Guns of Wà r,
But for Him the Fight WÃ s Over.
He'd Gà ve His à ll..à nd More.
Oh, He Was Not à lone.
Others HÃ ve FÃ llen Too.
à nd Time Will Not Erà se the Fà ct...
They Fell for Me à nd You.
We Owe These Men à nd Women,
For They Never Got à ny Older.
We Didn't Even Know Them.
To Most of Us They Were..Unknown Soldiers.
So Rest in Honored Glory,
Eà ch à nd Every O ne of You.
You Gà ve à ll You Hà d to Give...
For Freedom à nd the Red, White à nd Blue.

In times of sorrow, we cà lm eà ch other,
In moments of horror, we cluddle together,
When we slip on the wà y, we hold eà ch other,
When terror strikes, we defend together,

bringing peà ce to every steeple
cà using wà rs they will not do
destroying enemies for their due

forgetting all the thrill

Kamikazes hit us hà rd
no one held à winning cà rd
milità ry keeps us sà fe
nuclear threà t is unsà fe
open arms policy long gone
Policing neighbors? Should be done
quit pollution alwà ys à goà l
recovery is in my skull
science agà inst religion
we’re better thà n à pigeon
understanding is the key
I hope we’ll alwà ys be free
wà r should never be the à nswer
with many falling to CÃ ncer
youngsters keep growing up quickly
with pà rents becoming sickly
hold on to that Americà n pride
we’ll tà ke on challenges with stride.
